Success4School Inclement Weather Policy

WE DO NOT FOLLOW ANY SCHOOL DISTRICT CALENDAR, SUCH AS WAKE OR JOHNSON COUNTY. 

In case of snow or other potentially hazardous weather or emergency situations, a decision may be made to close early or completely. As soon as a decision is made a notice is posted on our web page using a link on the home page titled, "inclement weather".  Please do not call radio and television stations. These decisions are made after consulting the National Weather Service, local weather forecasters, and area driving conditions. Additionally, if our specialists and coaches cannot drive, specific sessions may be cancelled and banked.  In the event that we, Success4School, close early or completely, all sessions scheduled for that day will be "banked" and students may use them when convenient. In the event that we do not close, but you feel you cannot get your child safely to a session, it may be best to cancel sessions. Cancelled sessions are considered rendered, unless you have called the day prior. Impending storms are usually announced by the National Weather Service early, and therefore, if you fear you cannot make a sessions, you are responsible for requesting it to be banked. You must make this request within 24 hours of your session time/date.
